About Darin Garman
First and foremost Darin Garman is a husband (35+ Years) and father of three who lives in Marion, Iowa. Darin is a “go to” multi-family owner, investor, broker, author and self improvement experimenter going on 34 years. Darin is active in the lives of his family and has attended as coach or parent more athletic activities than one can count. Darin is deeply involved in his family’s life, having attended countless athletic events as either a coach or a supportive parent. He has been present at football, soccer, and wrestling matches, often from the sidelines or the stands, with two of his children competing in NCAA Division I sports.

Graduated Bishop Garrigan High School Algona, Iowa in 1985 – they were POSSIBLY glad to get rid of him???
All State Football Player in High School.
Criminology Degree University of Northern Iowa 1989 BA. Attended UNI on athletic scholarship and played Center on the offensive line. At 5’11” tall once weighed as much as 257 pounds, could bench press 440 pounds and squat 665 pounds competitively.
Born into a single parent family as an only child. Grew up in a small two-bedroom home with Mother, Grandmother, Grandfather and Uncle.
1989 – 1990 Prison Guard – Iowa Department of Corrections.
1990 – 1992 Prison Activities Consultant Iowa Department of Corrections. “The Repo Man” to the inmates.
Quit Job with the Department of Corrections As A Result of Reading “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill in 1992. Almost caused a riot in the prison when he told the inmates, as a joke, the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders were coming to take photos with them. Problem: Many inmates actually believed it!

Major influences in Darin’s life and philosophy are Dan Kennedy, Robert Ringer, his Uncle Tom Garman, Raul Villacis and his main inspiration is his wife Gina.
